  • Since 2011, Qcells has organized the “Hanwha Solar Forest” campaign, creating eco-friendly forests to help address desertification and fine dust – both of which are caused by climate variations and human activities. Qcells has donated solar panels to generate carbon emission-free energy to foster seedlings used for these forests. And through this campaign, Hanwha Group has thus far created nine forests across Korea, China and Mongolia.

Mekong Campaign

  • In 2019, Qcells donated solar modules to Hanwha Group’s “Clean Up Mekong” campaign. In the Clean Up Mekong campaign, two solar-powered boats were donated to Vinh Long, Vietnam to help remove floating wastes from the Mekong river in an environmentally-friendly way.
